Welcome to Touching Them All the official newsletter of the United States Amateur Baseball Federation (USABF) and the San Diego Elite Baseball League (SDEBL). This and future issues are dedicated to providing up to date information about the West's premier provider of high quality tournaments and league play for traveling youth baseball teams.

Touching Them All will focus on news and events of importance to youth baseball teams throughout the country. It is intended for players, coaches, professional scouts, college recruiters and providers of baseball equipment and services.

Future issues will feature topics such as results and photos from recently played USABF  tournaments, details about upcoming events, spotlights on participating teams and players, and links to websites of interest.

We hope you enjoy  the newsletter and remember:

You Can't Win If You Don't Play - See You on the Field

A provider of quality tournaments since 1994, the USABF routinely attracts top-flight travel baseball teams from around the nation. The USABF features a mixture of wood bat and aluminum bat tournaments directed at age groups from 14 and under through 18 and under. The USABF manages two sister organizations, the San Diego Elite Baseball League (see item below) and Junior Baseball of America, which hosts a national championship for age brackets of 10U, 11U, 12U and 13U in late July.

With its strong lineup of summer and fall events, the USABF has attracted professional scouts and college recruiters on all levels. The USABF offers a high number of guaranteed games and invests more than $100,000 annually to secure the rights to top fields in the cities that host its tournaments.

The USABF returns to Palm Springs to open the 2008 summer tournament season on May 23-26. The Challenge is open to age brackets of 14U, 15U, 16U and 18 years and under. The tournament offers a four-game guarantee with each team playing 4 pool games over Friday, Saturday and Sunday (May 23-25). The top 6 teams in each division then advance to Monday’s (May 26)  single elimination championship round. All play is aluminum bat. Entry fee is $700.
