Play Ball:  Welcome to the July 4th Open.  

Tournament Entry Fee:  This year’s entry fee is $895 which includes a dozen baseballs, lineup cards and a minimum of 2 umpires per game.

Tournament Central:  Tournament Central will open daily one hour prior to the first game and remain open until the end of the day to provide you with the most up-to-date information.

Check-in:  Tournament check-in will be on Friday July 2, 2010.  Each team is required to check-in at least one hour before their first game to pick up their Manager’s Handbook, baseballs and lineup cards.  Final rosters and certificate of insurance must be submitted at check in.  Teams without proof of insurance will be required to purchase a policy before playing (Cost is $189).  This policy will be good for the entire 2010 season (December 31, 2010)

Schedule:  The tournament schedule will be available at our website WWW.USABF.COM. 

Playing Facilities: The USABF is proud of its playing facilities. We believe that the College and High School facilities used for USABF events are second to none.  Each playing venue receives complete field maintenance before and after every game. Most have indoor restrooms and a full snack bar.

Admission:  Managers, please remind your parents and fans that admission is charged for all USABF tournament games. Daily admission is $7 for adults and $3 for children and is valid at all facilities for the entire day. 

Manager’s Handbook:  All teams will be given a Managers Handbook that includes the tournament schedule, playoff brackets, directions to all the facilities and, the official USABF tournament rules

Tournament Roster:  Roster limit is 22 players, Please download the official roster form our website. Rosters are very important for the many followers including Major League Scouts, College Coaches, Sponsors, and Supporters. Remember, this is NOT your OFFICIAL ROSTER.  Your Official Tournament Roster is due at Check-in on May 28, 2010.

Tournament Awards:  Team Awards will be provided to the Championship and Runner-up teams the winning team will receive a direct birth to the USABF Open World Series Played in San Diego July 31^st – August  6^th.  Players listed on the winning roster will be free for the World Series, all others will be required to pay the individual participant fee of $95.00 per. 

Friend of a Friend Discount: Have a friend who has a team that has never played in an USABF event? Convince them to enter a tournament and you receive a $100 credit for your next USABF Tournament.
