Play Ball: Welcome to Southern California for the first ever Southern California Invitational.  The USABF is proud to announce its newest event of the Summer Circuit.

 

Tournament Entry Fee:    This year’s entry fee is $875.  Included in the fee are: a dozen of baseballs, two umpires per game and a credit of $200 towards the 2010 USABF World Series.

 

Tournament Central:  The tournament central will be located at the Host site (TBD).  It will be open and available to provide you with the most up to date information and directions one hour prior to the first game till the completion of each day’s games.

 

Check-in:  Tournament check-in will be conducted at Tournament Central starting at 8:00 am on June 23.  Games start at 9:00 am.  Each team is required to check-in one hour before their first game submitting their final roster and certificate of insurance.  If you don’t have proof of insurance you will be required to purchase one at a cost of $189.  This policy will be good for the balance of the 2010 season.

 

Schedule:  The tournament schedule will be available June 16, 2010. You can access the schedule at www.usabf.com.  Each team will play two pool games, followed by Double elimination, Teams will be seeded based on pool play won/lost percentage.  

      

Playing Facilities:  The exact location of the facilities will be announced by mid March.  Most facilities provide indoor restrooms and a full snack bar.

 

Admission:  Managers, please remind your parents and fans that admission is charged for all USABF tournament games. Daily admission is $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for youth 17 years and younger.  A 5 day tournament pass is available for $25.00 per adult - youth tournament passes are not available.    Daily admission is valid at all facilities for the entire day.

 

Tournament Roster:  Roster limit is 22 players. Please download the official roster form from our website prior to June 25. This form is optional.  If you use a different roster form, please be sure that the players name, birth date, AND uniform number are included. Incomplete rosters will not be accepted.  Program rosters are very important for the many of our followers.  Your Official Tournament Roster is due at Check-in. Program rosters are very important for the many followers including Major League Scouts, College Coaches, Sponsors, and Supporters.
